Accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17065
The accreditation of a certification body sets out a number of requirements to be satisfied, ranging from organizational and managerial requirements, ensuring independence, impartiality, confidentiality, resources and processes down to reporting of test results.
Accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17065 ensures that the certified products are reliable in terms of quality, that they meet a required technical level and that they comply with the specifications of corresponding product standards and directives.
