Accreditation according to ISO/ IEC 17025
The accreditation of a laboratory sets out a number of requirements to be met, such as requirements for independence, impartiality, confidentiality, resources and processes, handling of test and calibration equipment, technical records, determination of measurement uncertainty, assurance of validity of results, and reporting of test results. A number of requirements to be satisfied by the laboratory management round off this standard.
Laboratory accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025 ensures that the products tested in an accredited laboratory are reliable in terms of quality and conform to the specifications of corresponding product standards and guidelines.
Accredited PEHLA laboratories perform the tests in an objective and independent manner!
